I have spoken with my Medela rep, and she has assured me that there is no
vinyl in any of Medela's products that normally come in contact with moms'
breastmilk or baby's mouth. Vinyl is used in some Medela components such as
the tubing in the pump kits; however, nipple shields, SNS, Hazelbaker
fingerfeeder and Softfeeder are all made of silicone.
