As a member, I am extremely pleased to finally hear the news that ILCA will no longer accept funds from Medela as an exhibitor at the annual conference - some of us were  working on this before 2001 when the Breastfeeding Committee for Canada Board decided against this exhibitor for Canadian conferences (May 2001). Congratulations to the full ILCA board for finally making this important decision in support of the International Code. 

Now we need to collectively pressure ILCA to refuse the ads and exhibits from lansinoh  (see JHL back cover Feb 09 issue). Lansinoh is owned by Pidgeon (since 2006), a huge international Code violator in Asia? This is now a conflict of interest for ILCA to accept advertising funds from this US based branch, which subsequently provides a direct financial gain for Pidgeon?
