Mothers are told breastfeeding encourages bonding between them and
their baby - and that this is a good thing.

They are also told that bottle feeding makes the child 'independent'
- and that this is a good thing.

They are told that breastfeeding fosters a close, unique relationship
- and that this is a good thing.

They are also told that bottle feeding 'means dad can share the
feeding' - and that this is a good thing.

No wonder mothers get confused.
