Can anyone help me out with references to back me up on these staff responses
regarding fingerfeeding?
*it is dangerous
*the baby sucks and swallows the glove
*the glove disintegrates in the baby's mouth
*it is dirty without a gloved finger
*noone should be putting a finger in the baby's mouth
*it is setting us up for a liability issue

We have been successfully fingerfeeding without incident for 6 years, yet with
new staff new issues can visit. There seems to be so little published data on
this. We should pool our case experiences and safety data.
