Dear Lactnet Friends:

My clinical choice is to start the mother with a 5 French Feeding tube and
see how she feels about using it. This is the cheapest option. If she
doesn't like it, then not much is lost. If she is comfortable with its use,
then we can discuss the choice between Lactaide and SNS.
