Hi, Barbara,

Cholesterol levels rise 40-50% in the later half of pregnancy.  My
cholesterol is usually around 200.  It was 365 in the 8th month of my 2nd
pregnancy.  Had stopped at a health fair screening.  Put me in quite a panic
until I looked it up in my Williams Obstetrics text.  Williams says that
cholesterol levels fall at varying rates after delivery, with breastfeeding
accelerating that rate.  Your client is only 3 1/2 months PP.  I would wait
and see what more breastfeeding can do.
