Is there any contraindication to thawing EBM by putting it in a cup of cold
water and sticking it in the fridge?

Our NICU has been doing this because it thaws within 3 hours instead of 8-12
just in the fridge. I can't find information on this. But it seems
feasible.

But there have been some challenges on the procedure.

Second, what are the opinions on the "Second Nature" bottle? And on the new
Playtex double electric pump?

Thanks,

Cheryl Muller RNC IBCLC (that is, hoping I pass my 10 year retest on the
31st).
