I had an interesting question from a pregnant client that I told her I would
ask here and get some feedback.

Mom is fairly petite, 5'4", about 120 pounds pre-pregnant. She is 38 weeks
pregnant. Her breast size was a D before pregnancy - has gone up two sizes
now to F. When her milk comes in, of course, she knows that her breast size
will probably temporarily increase again.

Here's her question: She and I have both heard that with breastfeeding
children, sometimes your breast size ultimately goes down after you are
done, and with each pregnancy and breastfeeding experience after that. Is
there any data to back that up? I'm hoping to hear yes - this mother is not
very motivated to breastfeed and is an "Ezzo parent" as I like to call them
(BabyWise), but she said last night that if breastfeeding longer would keep
her from having to have a breast reduction, she'll do it for as long as it
takes! She said that her mother did not breastfeed and just kept getting
larger and larger breasted after each pregnancy, never going back!

Thanks for your input on a rather strange question, I'm sure! Not the
perfect reason to breastfeed, but hey, if it gets the baby on the breast for
a longer duration, I'll research anything for her!
