I admire U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth's position in this heartbreaking time in U.S. society.  Duckworth is a nursing mother who spoke at a Washington, D.C. protest yesterday, June 28th, in support of family reunification:  

"I wanted to show my support for the folks here today. I could only imagine what it would be like to have my daughter — my breastfeeding child — ripped away from me the way some of these other moms’ babies have been."
