Dear Amy:

I want to speak my mind about breastfeeding. You don't seem t think there  is
anything offensive about it.

It isn't specifically breastfeeding but he way some mothers do it! Why does
no one understand this?  I remember in the 60's mothers would drape a thin
receiving blanket over their shoulder to feed the baby discreetly. Today some
women might as well just walk around topless. Why can't women be more  discreet?

You and I evidently have different memories of the 60's. But you're right_I
don't have a problem with breastfeeding.  I'm sure we'll hear from other
readers on this topic.
