Dear Friends:
Marie Biancuzzo said it best at a conference, "Breastfeeding is
everybody's business."
In hospitals, that means housekeeping, dietary, nursing, midwifery,
physicians, administrators.........folks from every place in the hospital where
mothers and babies could be: from the ER to the OR to the maternity and
pediatric and orthopedic and medical/surgical wards, including ICU.
In the community, that means representatives from business, news,
schools, places of worship, stores and malls, parks...........anywhere a nursing
mother and/or her baby would be.
    warmly,

Nikki Lee RN, MS, Mother of 2, IBCLC, CCE
Maternal-Child Adjunct Faculty Union Institute and University
Film Reviews Editor, Journal of Human Lactation
