Heard a very interesting talk yesterday about how the brain changes and 
reorganizes when babies aren't responded to or don't receive emotional 
messages back from mentally ill or drug impaired care providers.  Scarey 
stuff.
Makes me also wonder about ultra sounds, Jaye!

Just came back from LLLI and saw all those babies in close contact with moms 
and think of all the babies that aren't reponded to in every village and 
town.  Sad.  Sounds like there has been lots more research done since the 
cloth vs wire monkeys.  I wonder why this info isn't well known in general. 
The speaker was talking about violence and it's effects on children.  100 
people listened to him spell bound for 3 hours!
