JoAnn Scott used to teach the bf class for the hospital where i work and i
was the facilitator/hospital rep so i got to hear her teach the class about a
zillion times. she used the example of a "palmful per day", which i still use
when talking to new parents, but for written bf eval guidelines i prefer to
be a little more descriptive in terms of amount or volume, ie an amount that
would equal ~1/4 cup(60ml or 2oz) per day.
