Congratulations to you both! No matter how they came into the world, we know
they are well loved! It must be greatly challenging to watch as a new
mother, and someone as special as your own child, crosses the bridge into
parenthood. And greatly humbling to watch as they struggle with issues we
may have long since conquered. I find myself sometimes annoyed at the
mothers who are tired of their 6week darlings who are not "sleeping through
the night" when my elder son is out until 4am with his friends, and my
teenager is experimenting with alcohol. To watch a mother deal with the
brand new issues, after you've been doing this long enough to have a child
who is having a child, well, my hats off to you all!

Congratulations, again, to you special grandmoms. I hope to join your ranks
some day, (but not too soon!)

Best wishes,

Sam Doak
