According to WABA http://www.waba.org.my/wbw/wbw98/whattodo.htm you
can calculate the cost of ABS like this: A baby needs 2.5 kg of ABS
powder in the first month, 3.2 kg the second month, and 4 kg per
month after that.
So this gives you an indication of how much you need. I don't know
how large your cans are? Over here they usually are 900 grams, so for
the first 6 months you need 21,7 kg = just over 24 cans, the next 6
months 24 kg = 27 cans. But obviously your cans are smaller, if a WIC
mother gets 30 cans a month?
