I did not mean this. But I do not think that caresses of all kinds of other
people can *for the baby* replace the maternal breast.
Wether we or busy modern western moms like it or not, from a biological point
of view babies want and need their mothers and their mother's breasts. Period.
And to be honest, if a baby is swaddled *the way I see them being swaddled*
in my country nowadays I do not see a being that will urge me to cuddle or
caress it. They just look like dolls, that can be put away whenever the
playing child's interest diminishes.
Raising children is not about momther's and father's and grandparent's needs,
it is about the children's needs. Having a baby is a huge responsibility that
people should think over and over again before starting one. They should not,
like I see so much these days, want to have a baby in order to complete their
lives and after the birth suppose they can go on living like they used to.

Yes, I am on my soapbox.
Suppose I'd better be off now, before letting myself becoming nasty.
