From our friends on the Latin American net, they have a question about two
exclusively bf babies who have gained weight. Leiza 3.8 Kg. at birth,
almost doubled birth wt. by 2 months and at 8 months weighs 12.6 Kgs.; 2nd
baby 3.0 Kgs. at birth and about triple birth wt to 9 Kg. at 4 months. The
questions come in from two neonatologists, so I would assume that the babies
are otherwise health. The request is for other experiences with this type of
weignt gain and recommendations for the parents. I will transmit any
questions to them as well as advice.
