Apologies Camille, you did make it quite clear that you were talking about
colostrum. (A lesson to re read before hitting the send button, not after!)
 In which case if the paed did supplement with SNS at this early stage it
then becomes possible that lactation may in the end be compromised as a
direct result, making involution and hypernatraemic milk a self fulfilling
prophecy.
