As those job credentials go, I would not qualify, as I do not have 3 years
of OB experience.  Kathleen Auerbach would not qualify. Many others that I
can think of would not qualify either...I don't buy the line about  the
nurse having to be around newborns, being autonomous either. That's the
party line, and a liability CYA thing.

And just for the record, I learned NOTHING about breastfeeding in nursing
school, and that was Boston Univ. 1983, BSN.  In fact, going to nursing
school for me, [with regard to lactation] was a HINDRANCE.
