Thanks so much for updating us, Kim Ann!  I know I am not alone in my gratitude for your continued participation on LN.  In light of the recent discussion about the media attention to milk sharing your post was very apropos.  Your situation is not one that many of us are likely to run across in our practice, which is one reason why the listmothers welcome you to post to the list about it.  Another reason is that you are a cherished part of this community and it is just GOOD to see you are keeping your feisty spirit through the rotten deal of your cancer.  
I'll be thinking of your words every time I work with a mother who weans for a reason not of her own choosing.  Thanks again for sharing this with us.
