Kim-
I was one of the people who said that I didn't take a special course
before the exam.

The important thing is that I was a LLL leader for 21
years, have an interest in science and was always reading the more
technical stuff on lactation. I feel that I studied for it for 22 years
(from the time I started my LLL application process).
I also went to many more CERP sessions in the last few years than those
required for the exam. I call this preparation and home study.

The exam was comprehensive and quite difficult. It was so hard that after
the morning session I didn't want to go back. It was all that I
could do to force myself back into the exam room - I only went because I
figured that it was already paid for.

I am not commenting here on any possible changes in requirements.
Only on my own experience.
