Hi, Kelly. I think anyone would be completely and utterly frustrated in your
given situation. Obviously, you have all your eggs together and are just
waiting until you have been given approval to put them in your basket.
Naturally, it appears as if you are being stalled because of the actions of the
IBLCE.

However, I think it might be to your benefit and might help you achieve your
goal of obtaining the IBCLC designation if you don't put all your eggs in one
basket. That basket being Pathway F. After all, you are wanting to put all
you eggs into a basket that is not fully woven.

The fact is, Pathway F was removed for a time as a viable option.

The fact is, IBLCE has indicted that it will be reinstated.

The fact is that Pathway F is not yet up and running.

The fact is that Pathway F does not appear to be a viable option to you at
this time.

I would challenge you to not look at becoming an IBCLC through only the one
possible Pathway, and not view the other types of lactation designations in
an "either or" way. Many, many people use other other designations as a
stepping stone to becoming an IBCLC. Perhaps this might work for you. Even
if you do find you must persue the CLC or CLE or what not, that does not
preclude you from continuing to obtain hours in which to sit the IBLCE exam as
time goes on.

I know you want to get this designation as soon as you can, and obtain your
hours in the way that best seems to suit you. However, do be mindful of the
fact that many, many of us who have obtained IBCLC were able to do so only
after YEARS of accumulating enough breastfeedfing consultancy and
eduational hours.

The thing is, no matter how frustrated you are, you must look at the facts
and work with them. Pathway F is not ready. You are ready, but it is not.
Perhaps you should consider persuing another designation, or consider
accumlulating hours anyway, in effort to further you knowledge and
education, regardless of if those hours will be credited on an IBLCE exam
application.

Blessings!
