Catharine,

There are many books out there on alternative treatments for ADD. Dr. William Sears published one within the last couple of years called "The ADD Book." Although the book is geared toward children with ADD, I imagine that the dietary and supplement suggestions in his book could be utilized by the mother herself as well.

Good luck,

Most of what I find in the archives seems to pertain to children rather than mothers.... She would consider
'alternative' therapies as well as standard medical treatments"
