I wonder, too. And, I think it takes a great deal of support for women who
have been culturally taught to label their feelings about not breastfeeding
as "guilt" to come to recognize that what they are feeling is
well-justified grief for the loss of breastfeeding and well-justified anger
at having had their efforts to breastfeed undermined so systematically in
their society.
