I have breastfed my child in the dentist's chair while getting my teeth
worked on.  The dentist didn't have any problem with it.

I knew a mentally retarded child in Mali who survived on breast milk alone
until 3.5 years of age, and then died when he was weaned [weaned because his
mother was pregnant again].  I had helped the mother get him to eat some
solid foods, but it wasn't enough.  :(
