Pat writes about the 20/20 Ferber show which aired some years ago and I, too, 
will never forget the gut-wrenching scene of the child hysterical in his 
crib.  I must have had a young child then for I stayed up late to write a scathing 
letter on whatever paper was available, which included that this was nothing 
short of child abuse.  Parts of my letter were read on the subsequent 20/20, 
and I knew it was mine because the words were familar and there was my yellow 
legal pad paper among all the white, typed letters.  I can't remember the date 
that show aired but it must've been at least 10 years ago, for I do recall 
quickly penning the letter so I could crawl into my bed between my two sleeping 
daughters.
