We use the same protocol (and we are baby friendly). You have to remember,
though, that refusing a blood sugar check (especially if the infant is low)
might not be in the baby's best interests. We run into people like that
occasionally, but that's a different story altogether. Babies can be low and
NOT symptomatic at all. I had a baby like that recently.
