Hi All,

My daughter had her 6 mo checkup at the MD today and I got into a
conversation with the MD about having LC's employeed at the Pediatrician's
office. Fortunately my Pediatrician does employ a full time IBCLC- lucky for
me! :) Since this is something I would love to see at other offices, she gave
me a few names of Pediatrician's in our area and encouraged me to contact
them and "sell" the idea. So, a few questions for all you wise women...

1- Anyone out there who is already employed by a Ped office willing to discuss
their role with me?
2- Does anyone have something in writing that can be used to convince a Ped
office to hire a full time LC?
3- Anyone know how the LC is paid? Ie- billed to insurance? as part of well
child check-up?
4- any ideas of what to quote for LC salary?
5- how to generate clients?
6- any other advise or suggestions you can give to help me sell the idea to
these practices would be great!

Please email me at [log in to unmask] if you have any suggestions.

Thanks in advance!

Jamie Huddleston IBCLC
