Ellen W. Kadden M.A., IBCLC

First let me say this is NOT AN ATTACK! I just feel I may not have explained
myself well enough. The vacation thing was meant as a joke. I don't know if
it is or isn't true. As I see it that is not the main issue here. Moms are
calling and complaining about low milk supply’s and as you have mentioned
your self, different suction levels on each side. My issue is to find the
truth and if something is wrong get it fixed nothing more. I like many of
the product M+++++ provides and that is why I was so surprised at the
response.
I am not angry or out to hurt anyone’s business. As for maintaining contact
with the reps I have done that. I just felt at times a little put off by
being "the only one". I had contacted my reps and explained my problems and
did as they suggested with out success. Again, I am not trying to be
difficult! Breastfeeding moms face enough challenges with out this.
Yes, I do understand BUGS HAPPEN. All I am asking is for them to work on it
and to keep the old kits available for those who wish to use them. I also
said in a earlier post it would be helpful if people who are as well as those
who arn't having trouble to contact M+++++ so we get good soild info on all
sides. I also want to hear how things are going and who is testing and what
they are coming up with. I am sure you test things before you recommend them
and that is all I am doing. Instead of blindly going on what they tell me.
As for making money - I do to, as do many of us. That's not the issue
either. What is important is giving the best to the mothers and babies we
serve. I know no one is perfect, but if there is a problem admit it and work
together to fix it. I have more respect for someone who says there is a
problem and we are working on it than not acknowledging the possibility. As
well as making the people who are trying to help moms think it's their
fault. I am climbing down now!
