     I'm working with a mother of twins as a postpartum doula.  I'm aware that
many mothers produce more milk on one side than the other.  This woman seems
to have a more severe case of this.  She's alternating twins at each feed.
The twin who nurses on the smaller breast gets hungry 1/2 hr to an hour after
her feed.  The other baby on the larger side seems satisfied for 2 - 21/2
hours.  She is trying to feed them simultaneously, but their feeding schedules
are a bit crazy.  We tried pumping after one baby nursed on the large side.
The large side produced 2 oz. and the smaller breast produced barely 1/2 oz.
With twins nursing around the clock (and gaining well), I can't understand
this intense difference in supply.  Does anyone have any suggestions for this
mother?
