Dr. Hale,
I private emailed you, but received an error message.  A mom in my
practice is relactating for her 3 mo old, and is producing approx 5-10
oz/day calculated from the decrease in abm intake.  Her orthopedic
surgeon recommended cortisone injection into her wrist for tendonitis
that has not been responding to conservative treatment.  The red book
does not have info on injections of corticosteroids.  What can you tell
us about the advisability of breastfeeding after an injection?
