My hospital has no newborn nursery. All OB rooms are LDRP's and the baby
stays with Mom. Sick babies go to the NICU, which is within the OB
department. Babies who are being adopted, and the birth mother does not
want baby in her room, are boarded in the NICU. If Mom is in ICU, baby
is boarded in NICU. Circs are done in a procedure room.
Otherwise, all babies stay with their mothers from birth to going home.

So yes, it's happening here. :)
