Hi all!
I have been talking to a mom with a large family of bf children,
the youngest about 2. They are in the process of adopting a baby
from China and anticipate picking up the baby there in the next
month or so. She wants to bf this baby as she did all her others.
Her youngest is still nursing and she hoped that would be an ad-
vantage for milk supply. According to BF & Human Lactation that
may not be the case, but she will do whatever is necessary, ie
SNS. However her question now is what formula to take with her
to China (you have to bring everything you need with you--formula
bottles, diapers--they don't use them there, baby carrier, etc).

The information she has been given is that the baby is on a
"lactose free" formula now--she doesn't know whether it is milk
or soy based. I'm relying on the wonderful wisdom of all of you to give me feedback for this mom.
Jim A. I hope you're reading this too.
Thanks in advance.
