A new drug Lexapro is now being prescribed as the "drug of choice" replacing Celexa. I have a mother of an 8 month old (exclusively BF) who
was ordered Lexapro today. Cannot find any info on it pertaining to BF'g and safety. Lactation Category is not available. Of what I could find, it
has approxiamately the same half life time, absorbed in GI tract and excreted in HBM. Dr. Hale or anyone please help. Mom doesn't want to
take drug if it will affect BF'g.
