Ladies,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences. I am going to look into
everything and share all of it with this mom so she can decide what will be most
helpful. I do want to clarify a little, the problem with the dryness is not just
during intercourse. At this point, the dryness is severe enough to be constantly
painful and intercourse isn't even an option. She is trying to alleviate
symptoms enough to get through the day (of course, I am sure that her spouse is
hoping for intercourse). ;)

Again, I appreciate your willingness to share your experiences and ideas on such
a personal topic.The variety of topics that come up as part of working with
lactation issues is truly amazing. My mother's friend asked why I would become
an IBCLC because "surely there just isn't very much to it, is there?" If only
she knew!!
