Hello! My name is Angie and I have been on lactnet for a few months now.
I have enjoyed all of your wonderful contributions! I have finally
decided to send a message myself because I would like to "pick your
brains" a bit. This is my situation. I have a Ph.D. in Nutrition and am
currently a postdoc at Univ. of WA in Seattle. My research deals with the
development of heart disease and the role of various fats...anyway, all
"bench research". As many of you know, Evergreen Hospital (An Official
Baby-Friendly Hospital!!!) is located in the Seattle area. Last July, I
had my son there and have become an "Evergreen Addict"! Now, after
getting to know Molly Pessl, I have developed an interest in lactation and
nutrition. Since you are the ones working in the field, I would like to
know what lactation and nutrition issues need the most research, in your
opinion. If you have any ideas, please send them directly to me at
[log in to unmask] Thanks in advance for your help.
