Thank you for sharing Laurie,

I don't have implants but have worked with many women who did.  Prior to my current career I  worked in the sex industry. As a performer there were many acts that were rough on breasts and the only time any of us were concerned about implants exploding is if they were over the muscle and silicone.  If I were working now I would be concerned about any made in France, which also are silicone.  There is a 2003 article in the Archives of Surgery that suggests that 15% of silicone implants will rupture 3-10 years after implantation.  All that to say is RPS is not rough enough to cause rupture in and of itself.  Prolonged engorgement and age of implant are probably greater risks, but that is conjecture on my part.
