Hello again! I'm sorry about the last post, I hit a wrong key and the
computer sent out my post mid-sentence.
At any rate I was was saying that the breastfeeding rate went from 4% to 42%,
not yet where I'd like it to be but definite progress.
I have two sons ages 16 and 13 who have taught me a lot, and continue to do
so.Now for my question. A woman I work with just had surgery for fibroids.
She has one child age 6 who breastfed for a couple of weeks. Within 10 days
of the surgery she became engorged and started leaking. I asked if the
doctor had given her any hormone drugs, she wasn't sure. I have several
theories about what caused this phenomenon, but nothing definite. Any ideas
out there? TIA Dori
