I think what you're talking about is herbal echinacea--not homeopathic. I'd
never heard of homeopathic echinecha, that's why when you mentioned it I was
curious. Echinacea is a great herbal antibiotic, and has maximum effect when
used for 10-14 days. It doesn't extract well in water so tinctures are the
best way to go. Pills are not an effective way to take an herbal remedy,
although when folks expect medicine to come in a pill, sometimes it's the
only way to get them to take it at all.
