I have searched archives and so far am not able to find exactly what I am
looking for, but have read very many great posts about weaning, extended
nursing, etc.

What I want to know is: Is there an age at which baby (child) no longer
receives any milk from the breast even though continuing to nurse more than
three times per day, less times, more times etc. Of course, if mom delivers
another baby and lactation begins anew, there would be a new source of
abundant milk, but I am asking about the single child with no further
pregnancies .... how long is it possible to actually receive milk from the
breast?

Please reply privately as well as to list as I am trying to be sure I have
the answer for this question in case some one asks me on Friday...when I am
presenting a panel on extended nursing for LLL of Florida's area
conference....hello Natalie. (Who knows, maybe no one will ask....but then
again......maybe they will.)
