hi karin,

there is a paper from the german "federal office for risk evaluation"
on the risk of cmv-infections through breastfeeding (in german
language) with an interesting conclusion:
http://www.bfr.bund.de/cm/207/risiko_der_zytomegalievirus_infektion_durch_muttermilchernaehrung_von_sehr_unreifen_fruehgeborenen.pdf
hope you can understand it, if not i could write a brief translation...
then a short one on donor milk for premies:
http://stillen.de/we_stillen/pdf/publikationen/Moro-Guido.pdf

hope that helps!

Because the Medieval Church, with the support of kings, princes and
secular authorities, controlled medical education and practice, the
Inquisition constitutes, among other things, an early instance of the
"professional" repudiating the skills and interfering with the rights
of the "nonprofessional" to minister to the poor. -Thomas Szasz, The
Manufacture of Madness-
