It's almost World Breastfeeding Week (August 1-7). How do I know? You presented a formula promotion spot this morning as news!

Never mind the fact that research shows formula given early on is what causes the rates to drop from 90% breastfed at birth to 31% breastfed at 2 months.

The breastfeeding community used to be upset with formula promotion during World Breastfeeding Week, via news and slanted research. Now we all laugh when the annual barrage starts prior to World Breastfeeding Week.

Wouldn't it be nice if the networks and leading newspapers did positive articles about breastfeeding during WBFW?
I guess breastfeeding moms just don't pay as much as fomula companies for promotion.

Keep on with your slanted stories. Promote big business, greed and formula feeding. We all know there is no money in promoting breastfeeding. It saves lives and untold healthcare dollars, but that isn't important, I guess.
