One more suggestion about nursing twins;
    A LLLL spread a quilt on the floor in front of the couch, had lots of
pillows for her back and wherever else she might need them, put a pitcher of
water and a glass, tissues, diapers, wipes, portable phone, tv remote
control, and whatever else she needed, then she sat on the floor and nursed
her twins.  She kept it up for a year (sitting on the floor).  She said it
worked for her because she was concerned that one baby might roll off the
couch or even be nudged off onto the floor.  This was in the days before
nursing pillows.  I have always recommended this to moms, and those who do
it are pretty happy with the whole arrangement.
