<<Well, *** had her 15 mo check up. She's a tall skinny little thing. She's
32 inches long but only 19 lbs. Soooooo, the doctor has mandated that
breastfeeding is to cease :(. Well, not completely cease, I just can't BF
her until AFTER she eats her meal or snacks. And I can BF her at night but
not after midnight. The doc thinks she's substituting nursing from real
eating.>>

My oldest at 16 months was 33 inches and 18 lbs. -- right down near the
off-the-chart point. Her doctor was worried. But while we were still in
the watchful-waiting-stage, my own mother dug out my records from childhood:
I had been even skinnier than my daughter! So the doc was persuaded to
chill out, and the child -- who still eats demure quantities, although she is
adventurous about variety -- was left in peace.

The moral -- if you have records for your children, keep them until they
become parents! And this mom might want to ask her own mother if her baby
book is still in the attic.
