anecdotal evidence, regarding the use of EBM to treat eye infections. Does
anyone know of any?"

You're not going to like this, but yesterday I was handed a well-presented
book to review, the cover of whch shows a cute baby asleep with thumb in
mouth and on the front cover is written "dedicated to every parent-to-be ..A
life begins ... A parent's handbook with the compliments of Nestle."
Author, Gail Davidson RSN, Midwife, Childbirth Educator, connected to the
Family and Child Centre Randburg, copyright 1999 Nestle, published by
Nestle, South Africa. As I say - it's beautifully presented ...

Page 86 shows pictures of baby being bathed above heading and text, "Sticky
eyes: This may be due to a blocked tear duct ... yellow discharge ... Wipe
with cooled, boiled water from inner eye outward. Breastmilk is used to
clean the eye..."

Of course, whether you want to actually *use* this is a reference ...:(
