I also don't reaslly llike "effenciency/efficient".  To me it also indicates rapidity, time saving.  Something that is more efficient thsn something else gets more done in less time and with less effort.  Definitely NOT the message we want to give about breastfeeding-it involves so much more.  I do like to use "effective" when talking about latch and positioning.  I avoid (unless it slips out without my thinking what I am saying) that a baby's  latch is "wrong" (or worse yet, "bad") as it can come across as judgemental.  By talking about how to obtain a "more effective" latch, it covers baby's effort involved, mom's comfort, amount of milk transfer etc. without saying mom or baby are "wrong" or "bad".
