After 2 days of using Jacks APNO mom felt that the nipple pain was 50%
better and that the shooting breast pains were slightly better.

I contacted Dr. Susan Love and her response was in agreement that the
scarring from the catheters could be causing pain for the mom.

Our current plan is to get mom fitted correctly for a bra, as she is wearing
a G cup now and it still rides up in the back. To continue with the APNO,
and see how the shooting pains do after this.

There is no way to repair the scar tissue, according to her OB GYN and to Dr
Love, so we are in hopes that  more support for the breast and clearing up
the nipple pain will make nursing more tolerable.
