Dear Linda and others,

Just now I read your post about the donated milk you use on burns.

Last week I cared for a baby that got 1st degree burns from a bath that was
way too hot (she was bathed by 'an *experienced* health worker',really
incredible, but unfortunately true).
Can you please enlighten me on the use of human milk on burns? Do you have
any research, references or experiences. Please let me know although I hope
I never have to face another situation like this again. These are things
that shouldn't happen.

Thanks in advance,

Renate Rietveld, IBCLC.
