This is my point precisely.  Why aren't we asked, especially when we
perform our job responsibilities, not just adequately but in a most
excellent fashion?  I think a small part of my problem was that my boss has
no children and is, IMHO, not a big supporter of anything to do with
maternal child health (her background was critical care).  Also, I don't
believe that having your baby with her mom is just good for the baby, it's
also good for mom and the people to whom she models her mothering behavior.
 Jennifer and Nikki, I can imagine how much this hurts!
