Hi all,

Maginnis offers insurance for LCs who have the IBCLC certification. They also
have many policies for nurses. My ASPO group policy through Maginnis (as a
member and ACCE) has a rider available for my LC work. LLLI has insurance for
Leaders who work within their defined scope of practice only.

An official from Maginnis told me they don't issue policies to people with
"self defined credentials." They consider the IBCLC certificate the
legitimate credential for LCs.

Linda Smith, Dayton OH - where the trees are gloriously red, yellow and
orange these days, and we've had one frost which killed the last of the
summer flowers.
